Profound Thoughts (for a Techie)

I promised some "profound thoughts" so here are a few "techie" thoughts to start. Thanks to Ken Arrington for finding these.

"I think there is a world market for maybe five computers."
- 1943, Thomas J. Watson, founder of IBM

"But what is it [the microchip] good for?"
- 1969, Engineer at IBM Advanced Computing Systems of IBM

"There is no reason anyone would want a computer in their home."
- 1977, Ken Olsen, founder and CEO of Digital Equipment Corporation

"640K ought to be enough [computer memory] for anybody."
- 1981, Bill Gates, founder and CEO of Microsoft
